Nana's Bolognese

Happy Sunday, friends! It’s been a while since I posted over here; mainly because of that crazy quarantine life. Today was a dreary one, which has been making these long, confined days just a tad bit harder.

But we made the most of it, which is all we can do: We took a pretend trip to Tokyo, had a fire, got out of our PJs and went for a long drive; then came home and made my mom’s famous bolognese for dinner. And the familiar meal combined with a ZOOM call with some of our favorites left us feeling normal for a bit.

I’ve had this recipe saved for ya’ll for sometime, but this is the very first time I made it myself. As I’ve said before, my mom is a true chef- so some of her recipes are a bit above my pay grade. But this one is for everyone- its SUPER simple, and doesn’t take long to make. You can use on your favorite pasta, spaghetti, veggies or on a pizza if you’re in the mood. Make extra and freeze to use over the next few weeks. And enjoy!
