Seven
Ah, it's the magical mystery kind
Ah, must be a lie
Bye bye to the too good to be true kind of love
Oh, I could die
Oh now I can die
We chose this as our wedding song after a fast and furious love affair. It felt fitting and I adored the beat. We didn’t realize at the time it was about tripping, but I guess the whirlwind we were in sort of felt that way, too.
I loved you fiercely from that first moment. Even I wasn’t entirely sure it would last, not many stories like ours do. But I didn’t want it to end, and I was willing to take that chance.
And now we are here. 7 years later. Still married. Still driving eachother crazy. Still crazy in love.
And I’m just so damn happy we took that bet on us.
That over the last 7 years we’ve put in the work.
A lot of fucking work.
But that we’ve grown together, instead of apart.
Our love has looked different throughout our journey- Day drinking in our carefree, younger years quickly turned into holding hands during treatments and picking eachother up after loss. But then came our gorgeous miracles, and now I fall more and more in love with you each day watching how you love all three of us through this life of ours. The one we fought so hard to create. The one we refuse to give up on. The one we are so, so grateful for.
Happy anniversary, my forever favorite.
I still would choose that song, acid undertones and all. And I sure as shit would still choose you.
Any day.

Fun facts
We didn’t do a first look before the wedding, we saw eachother for the first time as a walked down the aisle
Speaking if walking down the aisle- my mom did me the honor, which our priest seemed to struggle with, but was so so special regardless
Unbeknownst to me, Phil pumped himself up for our nuptials by doing back flips off the Delamar harbor
My bridal party and I did our damndest to recreate the image from Bridesmaids, and I don’t think it was half bad
I lasted about two hours in my dress at the reception before I traded tulle down ripped jeans. I don’t regret it.
Phil and I were too busy dancing to try our cake, but I heard it was excellent
We also were too busy at the after party at our house to venture back to the hotel to stay in our newlywed suite. Another unconventional detail we don’t regret.
