A Good Morning with All Good Eats
Good morning, kids! I hope everyone’s enjoying their week so far! You may have noticed there have been a lot of food posts over here lately- I’ve really been trying to flex my cooking-muscles, and to share the simple, yet delicious, recipes that I’ve found. It seems like so many of you have been loving them, so I’m excited to keep incorporating them into our weekly routine here at L+L. And please keep sharing how you recreate them in your kitchens!
That said, last week I had our longtime friend Nathalie over from the wellness account All Good Eats to show Maddie and I how to whip up some of her family-friendly dishes. Nathalie, also the Registered Dietician and Functional Medicine Nutritionist behind the private nutrition practice, Nutrition by Nathalie, has some of the most delicious and healthy recipes around {like this one I shared last week}.
Being that I’m a mama to one picky eater, I’ve been on the hunt for sneaky ways to get our girl to eat pretty much anything besides pasta, cereal and the occasional banana. Veggies have been the biggest hurdle, for sure; so I was pleasantly surprised when this greens-filled, kid-friendly smoothie was a hit with our girl.
This smoothie was SUPER easy and took under five minutes to make; and is perfect for when we’re on-the-go. Which is pretty much everything we need these days. Plus MM gave it two thumbs up- quite literally; so it’s a winner in my book.
Scroll down for the recipe, and to see what MM thought was appropriate to wear while making a smoothie in the dead of winter…
