24 Hours In NYC

Jenni Kayne

This week I spent more time in nearby NYC than I have in quite a while.

It felt so refreshing to get out and feel the energy of the city again- even if it was in the brutal August heat and humidity. Tuesday I travelled in with my girl, but the next day I took a train solo into Manhattan to attend a few events and catch up with my sisters. I stopped by the Blogher Creators Summit where I mingled with other influencers and bloggers and was introduced to some great new brands. I then attended a beautiful dinner hosted by Water Wipes at the iconic Water Club- where I used to eat with my family before Rangers games as a child. It brought back so many memories of growing up in this special place, and reaffirmed the importance of bringing Madeline into the city from time to time to make similar memories.

Between events I caught up with my sisters, both of whom are currently Manhattanites. I lunched with my sister, now known as Auntie P at her local Sweetgreen, which has now completely ruined me for any other salad experience. I stopped by my youngest sister's place of work at the beautiful TriBeca Jenni Kayne, where I fell in love with everything; and I’m now officially inspired to switch over my entire home decor to varying shades of neutrals.

Here are a few snaps from my day away...
