Five Local- Ladies Volume II
Hi, Five Local!
I was aiming for weekly, but I'll take bi-weekly as a screaming success.
And because ya'll were so into the first edition of ladies, I decided to round up another group of five local lady bosses that I love. With an extra for good measure.
Here are a few more local women you need to meet:
The Travel Expert
Who
Jolie Goldring
What
Jolie is the world traveler that I swear I will be one day. If you're in the market for a luxe vacation, she's the girl. Whether its a solo Eat Pray Whatever, a romantic getaway, or a family friendly trip with the kids, she's got you covered. And if you can't hop on a jet plane to paradise anytime soon, make sure to live vicariously through her Instagram {below}.
Where
The New England Explorer
Who
Stephanie Stellwagen
What
I first met Stephanie via a little app called Instagram. It would take some time before we would meet IRL. But she's just as sweet and adorable in person as she is on her feed. Stephanie is a New Englander through and through. And I'm obsessed with how she captures this part of the country in such a beautiful, authentic way. She travels to the most Instagrammable hotels in some of the most picturesque parts of New England- with her sweet little Pippa in tow. If you like lobster, and foliage, and beaches and snow- you'll want to follow along.
Where
The Teacher
Who
Jacqueline Maranelli
What
I first met Jacqueline at the end of last year when Maddie first enrolled in her toddler art class in Rowayton. It took one step into her classroom, and Maddie felt instantly in love with "Miss Jackie." Her classes go beyond just artwork, as she incorporates music, nature, movement and play into her program. Her workshop in Rowayton is absolutely adorable; and her program at the civic center is one of MM's very favorites. And if you can't commit to a whole semester, Jacqueline offers drop-in sessions for $20 every Friday in Rowayton from 4-5pm.
Where
The Time Savers
Who
Megan Sullivan + Layla Lisiewski
What
Megan and Layla are the lovely ladies behind our town's super useful, Greenwich Moms- a calendar and blog that allows local moms an easy way to access local events, resources and activities at our fingertips. They launched our their inaugural chapter here in Greenwich in 2015; since then their brand has expanded to include sister blogs in several other neighboring towns and states under the umbrella of The Local Moms Network. If you're a busy mom- hmm, that sounds redundant- you'll want to check them out to see what's up in your zip code.

The Innovator
Who
Jasmine Hodgson
What
Jasmine is the brains- and beauty- behind new kids' fleece company, Merrimane. Frustrated by the unsightly pilling and fit of traditional fleece coats, Jasmine created her own brand of beautifully constructed jackets made with high quality, fused velveteen fleece. The result? Stylish and timeless pieces in a sturdy, child-friendly, easy to wash material. They're weight makes them perfect for the transition into the chillier Connecticut months; and their form makes them perfect for both playgrounds and playbills.
