Masala Baby Lilies and Lambs

Two and a half days into a summer sans-camp, and we have been logging some major hours at our local beach.

I'll admit: I was a little intimated at the thought of not having daily structured activities with MM after a full year of school and a few months of camp. But, in some ways, its only now starting to feel like summer time.

These years with our little are going by quick. But the last few lazy days spent just the two of us are bringing me right back to those early months of motherhood- that first summer when she was a newborn; when we would spend hours on the beach under the gazebo. With no clue as to what we were doing.

So much has changed since then- we no longer hide under the shade of the gazebo; she's walking and talking and there are no more diapers {hallelujah}- but so much is the same. I'm still so in love with this tiny human; being her mom is still one of the best things about me. And while I'm still so grateful for this gig, we still don't really know what we are doing. But I'm so blessed that as much as I get to watch her grow, she's making me grow too. And we're figuring it out together.

One salty, sandy day at a time.

Here are a few snaps from our day at the beach, in one of her favorite Masala Baby bathing suits- head on over and check out their back to school sale!

How do you spend summer days home with your littles?
