My Reading List: 5 Books for 2018

It’s been a long while since I’ve sat down with a good read. To be honest, I’ve never been one to prefer a book over Bravo; but ever since I’ve had MM there has been a vast decline in my time spent thumbing through the pages of a good ‘ole fashioned story. Besides a few great parenting books, I’ve basically neglected reading altogether; so this year, I’ve made a conscience effort to get back into the groove. And with an upcoming {childless} that will include more than a few hours on a plane, I’ve rounded up some good reads that I’d just love to sink my teeth into.

Here are five books I'd like to read this year; and because I’m so out of the loop, please please comment below with your favorite recent reads!

1. The Woman In The Window by A.J Finn

Currently on my nightstand, and first up on my reading list. This mystery thriller tells the story of an agoraphobic and possible alcoholic and the shocking acts she thinks she observes out her window.

2. I Like You Just The Way I Am: Stories About Me and Some Other People, by Jenny Mollen

I follow Jenny on Instagram, and if this book is half as hilarious as her Insta-Stories, it'll be a crowd pleaser, for sure.

3. Luckiest Girl Alive, by Jessica Knoll

At first glance 28 year-old Ani seems to have the perfect life, but she's hiding a crippling secret that continues to haunt her world.

4.  Drinking: A Love Story, by Caroline Knapp

A powerful memoir detailing Knapp's long and tortured love affair with alcohol.

5.  The Immortalists, by Chloe Benjamin

The story of four siblings who sneak out to meet a psychic that can tell anyone the day they will die. Their prophecies inform their next five decades.
