Mini Edit
It's no secret that since I've had MM, I much prefer shopping for mini over mom. From Gap to Gucci, it's amazing just how cute it all is- and much of it, I want for myself. And now that MM is officially in school- even for just a few hours a week, it gives us a whole new reason to go shopping. I'm a sucker for school girl plaids- always have been, always will be- skinny jeans, and quilted preppy pieces. And who doesn't love a kiddo dressed in a Pom Pom the size of their head?
So in the spirit of the upcoming season and the start of school, here are a few enviable pieces for littles that I'm loving for fall:

Fun fact: It is very difficult to snap pictures of two kids looking at the camera. I guess we’ll be working on that.
We’ve been suckers for matching holiday PJs here for years now; and now that Lila is here, the craze has only heightened. So when Sammy + Nat revealed their holiday design for mom and minis, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these soft pretties. The print is so perfect- zoo animals on parade all decked out in Christmas goodness. We’ll be living in them well into the New Year- we just wish they had a pair for dad, hint hint…
Rainbows and hearts and baby cheeks, oh my!
If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you may already know we’ve been spending a whole lot of time in our pajamas around here.
Early newborn mornings, cozy fall afternoons and lazy long weekends have been begging for our comfiest pairs; and I’ve taken ever opportunity to dress these two chickadees up in matching sets.
After what felt like an eternity of rainy days being holed up indoors, we were finally graced with a few beautiful, summery days this week. And we took every opportunity to soak up the sun and sand at our favorite local beach.
Back to school is right around the corner, and I can’t wait to share a few great giveaways over the next few weeks in honor of this awesome time of year.
Two and a half days into a summer sans-camp, and we have been logging some major hours at our local beach.
I'll admit: I was a little intimated at the thought of not having daily structured activities with MM after a full year of school and a few months of camp. But, in some ways, its only now starting to feel like summer time.
If April showers bring May flowers then we are in for quite a treat.
It's been a rainy spring here in Connecticut. And even though it doesn't feel like it quite yet, beach days are {hopefully} right around the corner. We'll be heading on a tropical family vacation in the next few weeks; and this little family has big plans to do very little but play in the sand and swim in the ocean. So I've been stocking up on all things swim- particularly for our little minnow.
Is it just me, or are these glimpses into spring pretty much everything right now? We've had a few of them recently here in Connecticut, and they're just what I need to get me through the last leg of the winter. The temperatures have been somewhat all over the place- and I'm pretty sure wearing a dress without tights for a hot minute last week was pretty confusing for our girl- but as long as that sunshine keeps peeking through, I'm all set.
Madeline's room has transformed a few times over the last two and a half years.
If you recall, it started as a neutral nursery {here} and I vowed never to include too much pink or frill. Famous last words. And I'm sure glad I had a change of heart, because in hindsight, that little grey room looks sort of sad.
Thanksgiving is a little over a week away, and I just can't believe it. This year has flown by- especially in the past few months- and here we are, in the most wonderful time of the year.
It’s been a rainy week so far in Connecticut. Making me crave lazy days by the fire; cozied up in our favorite blankets in our most festive seasonal pajamas. We’ve been quite dedicated to holiday pajamas since MM arrived- matching Christmas sets being our most favorite.
