Today marks three whole months with this sweet little cherub, and I can’t believe there was ever a time without her here.

This week I was able to sneak out of mom-mode for a few really fun business ventures at the new SoNo Collection mall in Norwalk. And it was just what the doctor ordered.

Wednesday night I attended an opening dinner for the new Bloomingdale’s hosted by Juliska. It was so nice to get out and see the beautiful new space; and to socialize with some of my favorite local ladies. Even if I was up way past my bedtime.

Brrr! We went from playing outside without our jackets on Monday to our first snowfall of the season yesterday. And it was chil-ly.

Maddie was so excited at the prospect of a November winter wonderland- she had visions of building snowmen and sledding at the first sound of a chance of snow. And it sort of broke my heart when I had to explain that sometimes a snowfall is just a flurry- or hail- and we may have to wait a bit before we’re building Olaf this winter.

Happy Friday, kids! It’s been such a great week over here- with lots of birthday celebrations, quality time spent with family and friends, and even a little dinner date at a spot I’ve been dying to try for months. This weekend the plans call for zero plans- just some lazy days by the fire and a few home-cooked meals. Here’s to a beautiful fall weekend- hope it’s a great one!

Fun fact: It is very difficult to snap pictures of two kids looking at the camera. I guess we’ll be working on that.

We’ve been suckers for matching holiday PJs here for years now; and now that Lila is here, the craze has only heightened. So when Sammy + Nat revealed their holiday design for mom and minis, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these soft pretties. The print is so perfect- zoo animals on parade all decked out in Christmas goodness. We’ll be living in them well into the New Year- we just wish they had a pair for dad, hint hint…

Tomorrow morning I’ll be 3-5.

In terms of birthdays, it’s not a particularly monumental one. It’s not a new decade for me; I don’t get any new privileges or accolades. But it’s a birthday I feel super comfortable with; and am happy to welcome.

I’m now officially in my mid-30’s; which in many ways has been my favorite chapter yet.

Friday marked eight weeks with my girl, and I’m finally starting to feel a little more human.

I’ve spent many a day in cozy sweats, covered in spit up. But I’ve also found a ton of postpartum pieces that accommodate this changing bod, for days when we venture out as a family of four.

And just like that, we welcome NOVEMBER.
I can’t believe there are only two months left in this decade. It’s really wild how fast time has been flying by: our little Lila Bean is already eight weeks old today; and in just a few short days I will be the big 3-5.

A few months ago I shared my complete baby registry here. Comprehensive as it was, you never really know what’s going to work for your baby until she gets here- I think we tried about six sleepers before finding one that worked for MM. Luckily, this time around didn’t require as much trial and error. And almost eight weeks in, we’ve pinpointed our tried and true baby products. Some we used with MM, and some are brand new {to us}.

How is it the last one of the month? October has flown by, and I can’t believe our little babe is already seven weeks old! My thirty-fifth birthday is just around the corner in early November, but I’ll be celebrating with the girls this Saturday; and I can’t wait to get dressed up, kick back and enjoy a drink or two with some friends that I haven’t seen since before I found out we were having Baby Number Two.
