Gift Guide 2020 - For the Little Littles
You guys- nothing makes me happier than to report that I am typing this blog post from the comfort of my new desk chair, at my new desk in my home office. Ah, the tiny victories of 2020 that keep us all going.
In today’s gift guide I’m sharing some of my picks for the little kiddos in our lives- most of which I have on my list for our Lila Lee:
For babies, I love to give board books like this Reindeer one and this cute star sign version- I got the star sign book for both girls this year for their stockings; it may be a little young for MM, but I think she’ll still enjoy it.
As you may have noticed, I’m on a bit of a wooden toy kick. It wasn’t intentional by any means, but Lila seems to prefer them and I’m perfectly content having more aesthetically pleasing activities in the house. We bought this under water set a few months ago and it’s still a hit- both girls are entertained and play quite nicely together with it. Highly recommend. I also love wooden block sets like this one here and this colorful set here. Montessori-based play toys from Lovevery are on the top of my list of favorites these days and if you’re looking for a purposeful, age-based toy they’ve got you covered.
I also love gifting puzzles for this age as a fun way to help reinforce fine motor skills- like this doctor version and this skill practice bear.
Musical gifts are also great for this age group- I love this 6 in 1 guitar music maker and this sweet llama drum.
If you want to give a cozy, more sentimental gift you can never go wrong with a cute stuffy and a cozy fleece blanket like this one here.
