Nursery Reveal
32 weeks and a few days later, and we’ve got a nursery!
If memory serves me correctly, I believe I had Maddie’s nursery done way sooner- I was a teensy bit excited to get her space all ready and set way-back-when. We eased into it a bit more this time around, but once I got the decorating bug, it was full steam ahead.
We started by painting our formerly blue guest bedroom a crisp, clean white- Simply White by Benjamin Moore. My friend Stephanie from The Girl Guide recommended it, and its the perfect bright white for the space- we also ended up painting our master bedroom the same color, and I cannot recommend it enough.
When it came to furniture, we had most of what we needed already- the dresser, changing table topper, rocking chair and crib. We did, however, need a shelf, and we decided on this beauty to house extra blankets, bibs, burp clothes and other odds and ends.
For decorative accents, I opted for this bright, tribal rug for a pop of color , these striped curtains, and this beaded light fixture for more of a boho feel; and it’s amazing how these little additions transformed the vibe of nursery number two.
Scroll through for a full tour and list of all the details- hope you love it as much as we do!

You guys: this sweet little cherub is six months old today, and I honestly cannot believe it.
It’s such a strange dichotomy: to feel so strongly that this tiny person was always meant for us, while formerly having succumbed to the notion that she may never come. As a result, there were moments, at first, where I couldn’t believe she was here. That she was ours. That after everything, after she decided to grow in my belly; that she came so effortlessly.
