Bowtique | La Buffina Bows

I didn't have a substantial head of hair until I was at least two years old. My mother tells me I would be all dressed up in pink and strangers would still compliment her on her cute baby boy. Being that I was a toddler, I could understand - and would, naturally, respond with a scowl. So my mother took to Velcro-ing bows to the tiny hairs on my bald head; although I'm not sure it helped.

At the age of nine-months, I think Maddie probably has about as much hair as I did then. Let's hope the baldness skips a generation. She isn't often called a boy, but when she is it doesn't bother me; and she, of course, doesn't understand.

Nevertheless, bows have been a staple in her wardrobe from the start. I've been addicted to collecting sweet little bows for her since she was itty-bitty; back when I first found La Buffina via Instagram, just a few months after she was born.

Maddie's collection started with baby bow adorned headbands; and now that she has a bit more hair, I've started playing around with little baby clips. La Buffina's latest collection of Liberty print beauties are swoon-worthy; and her gingham and floral versions are perfect for spring.

And while I don't wish for time to move any faster than it already does; I can't wait until she can wear a pretty blonde ponytail accented with big beautiful version of these sweet baby bows. I might have to get one for myself in the meantime...
