Well here it is: my sixth and final 2020 gift guide. This one is for the guys and includes all the goodies fit for the men in our lives.

OK, folks- here it is. The highly requested gift guide for the hostess. And truly, this might be one of my favorites yet.

These little gifts would be the perfect way to spread a little love to the hosts and hostesses in our lives this year- whether in person or virtually, I’ve got you covered.

You guys- nothing makes me happier than to report that I am typing this blog post from the comfort of my new desk chair, at my new desk in my home office. Ah, the tiny victories of 2020 that keep us all going.

Hope everyone had a beautiful weekend and that your weeks are off to a great start! Ours got off to a very early start today, but LL is giving me a much needed nap time right now, so I have a few minutes to share my fourth installment of my 2020 gift guides: Stocking Stuffers. This list has a few inexpensive trinkets to fill your stockings with for all ages.

Well, we made it to Friday, folks!

And I don’t think there’s ever been a more deserved weekend.
This weekend I’ll be continuing the birthday celebration with a little dinner with friends and I can’t wait for some much needed laughter, cheers and delicious food.

For the last few years my extended family and a group of close friends have replaced traditional gifts with eachother for one big, good old fashion game of Secret Santa. We typically organize it through the site, Elfster- it’s super easy to use and organize everyone’s wishlists; and then swap gifts at an annual Christmas Eve dinner we would have at our favorite Connecticut restaurant.

Mother's Day is in just a few days; but there's still enough time to squeeze in some last minute shopping. This year we'll be out of town for the holiday- you guessed it, back to Mickey's House we go- so we'll be forgoing a traditional Mother's Day brunch in exchange for the Magic Kingdom and mouse ears.

Tomorrow is February first, and I'm so ready for it.

Does anyone else feel like this January has been the longest month ever? Between the weather and my current fog of toddlerhood {complete now with potty training} I can't wait to get on with this year, and onto a fresh month.

This past week I took a quick break from my typical mama duties and headed into Manhattan for a much needed girls night out. I grabbed my sisters and friends and headed to a beautiful holiday event hosted by Babbleboxx.

It's the week of Thanksgiving and you know what that means- loosen up those party pants because we are about to eat all the pie and drink all the holiday libations. And then we're going to wake up on Friday and get our holiday shopping on.

Schedule

Football and snacks and all the beers. That's what our Sundays are made of.

So when I came across the libation-laden man gifts by Bro Basket, I knew it would make the perfect surprise for my husband's game day with the Pats. Being that I have roots in sunny Santa Barbara, I opted for the craft beer tasting flight, featuring Firestone beers and lots of tasty snacks.

Mother's Day is just a few days away, and I can't believe it will be the second one I will celebrate as Madeline's mom. This year will be especially happy, as we will be celebrating with my mama in tow- three generations of ladies. Last year I was so overwhelmed with new feelings of motherhood, that all I really wanted to do was hold my little one for Mother's Day.
