4 More Book in 2018

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a book review here.

I was really hoping to have five for you all for this next roundup; but I’ve been struggling to start/get through another one, and I wanted to make sure to share these goodies before the chaos of the holidays takes over for all of us.

I shared these five a while back; and have since read four more good ones this year.

So, if I’m doing my calculations correctly, that makes nine books so far in 2018. Which is about 400 times as many books as I read in the five years prior. Combined.

This year I really made a concerted effort to add reading back into my routine; and I’m so happy I did. Typically I’m all for turning on reality TV and shutting off my brain; but there’s something about settling in with a good book that helps ease my mind and relax at the end of a long day.

Here are four more books to enjoy in 2018. Comment below with your must-reads. I’m in dire need of another good book!

The Last Mrs. ParishMy favorite read of 2018 thus far. An addictive, thrilling novel with amazing twists and turns. A must for those of you that are into a great psychological thriller. {5/5}

When Life Gives You Lululemons : An easy, light-hearted read. There isn’t all that much depth to this one; but if you live in Greenwich- where this story is set- its an entertaining read that’ll make you laugh, for sure. {3.5/5}

Little Fires Everywhere : An engrossing story that dissects issues of race, motherhood and privilege set in the planned community of Shaker Heights, Ohio. Beautifully written, with wi and tenderness, making it one of my favorite recent reads. {4.5/5}

Still LivesA thrilling mystery set against the L.A art scene. Still Lives begins with the disappearance of an iconic feminist artist, and follows the search for her while unveiling the culture of the art world it is set in. Filled with secrets and unexpected twists, this one is a winner for both mystery and art lovers. {4/5}
