Pumpkin Pickin'
Since my husband and I were first married {four years ago this Thursday} we have taken an annual trip to our local nursery to enjoy their Pumpkin Patch and fall festivities.
Each year Sam Bridge decks out the rolling hills of their property in a different theme- this year, Alice in Wonderland- and invites families to join in some autumnal fun. Hay rides, pumpkin painting, scarecrow making and of course, pumpkin picking make for the perfect October afternoon. MM- all dressed up in the Cinderella gown she refuses to take off these days- had a ball picking her favorite pumpkins and riding the tractor filled with hay. And mom took full advantage of the plentiful photo ops of our kiddo in a vintage radio flyer in the patch.
Cap the afternoon off with a seasonal pumpkin ale and you've got yourself one perfect fall day.

Earlier this week Maddie and I sat down and came up with some ideas for our summer. She’s enrolled in a few camps here and there, but for the most part we don’t have many plans and I’m really looking forward to some quality time together, just us two.
Always one to level up the fun, Maddie suggested we put all of our ideas in a “Summer Bucket List Jar,” and on unscheduled days we will draw from it and let fate decide what we do… Genius!
