The past week has been filled with some much needed family time in my old stomping grounds- we've enjoyed ourselves so much, in fact, that's we've extended our trip just a few more days.
I've been soaking up the Cali sun, trips to my favorite west-coast beauty experts, enjoying the very best margaritas, and taking full advantage of having a few extra set of hands with my mom, sisters, and nana around.
As for Maddie- her mind has officially been blown. She's loved every second of Mema's house- the pool, the gardens + the pups. She's gotten spoiled by cuddles with her aunts, Frozen on repeat, and so many big-girl toys. And she acquired an affection for fresh avocados.

Just a few weeks ago we celebrated six months in our new home. On March 14, to be exact. I cannot believe we have lived here for half a year. It’s still so crazy at times to think we moved our little family of four, plus two fur babies, down south in the middle of a pandemic. But did it we did, and are so happy to be in our cozy home and to finally enjoy a bit of a routine. It was a tad hectic there for a bit- with so many changes and so little routine- but over the last few months we’ve found our groove again, and we’ve made a few simple changes that has helped make life just a little bit easier these days.
