As I've mentioned before, most of our time this summer has been spent at home, protecting miss Maddie from the heat and all those nasty germs. It's been hard not to get a little stir crazy, particularly when I exhausted the best of Netflix and Hulu during my pregnancy. So in order to combat the monotony of new motherhood, I made an effort to keep busy between feedings- rearranging the house, organizing my jewelry, and cleaning out my closet. I found that even the quickest coffee table facelift- these naps don't last long anymore- was a welcome distraction, allowing me to rediscover some of my favorite trinkets, and reminding me that beauty exists around me; despite the spit up on my Alexander Wang tee.
