Happy
Today is a happy day.
10.12.15- Exactly two years married and four months since we welcomed Miss Madeline to this world. The road to this day was both beautiful and trying at times- a year and a half spent hoping, praying, pleading, trying to make her happen. There were emotional days, failed cycles, and discouraging times; but I was lucky. I had a best friend and coach for a husband, understanding friends and family, amazing doctors and a success story after one round of IVF. In the scheme of things, my struggle to conceive was a short one- but I would have made that grueling trek ten times over to get to my little girl. Happy Anniversary, my love; thank you for sticking by me and our family. And happy four months to the light of our lives- boy, you were so worth it.
Just a few weeks ago we celebrated six months in our new home. On March 14, to be exact. I cannot believe we have lived here for half a year. It’s still so crazy at times to think we moved our little family of four, plus two fur babies, down south in the middle of a pandemic. But did it we did, and are so happy to be in our cozy home and to finally enjoy a bit of a routine. It was a tad hectic there for a bit- with so many changes and so little routine- but over the last few months we’ve found our groove again, and we’ve made a few simple changes that has helped make life just a little bit easier these days.
