Truth: I've never been big on Valentine's Day. In fact, I'm not even sure if my husband and I have really ever celebrated the holiday. That being said, I was having severe holiday-withdrawals in the weeks following Christmas- left full of cheer, with nowhere to place it. With the decorations all put away and peppermint-laden baking no longer acceptable, I started to explore my options.

One trip to Wlliams Sonoma, a few heart-shaped cookie cutters, some food coloring and a lot of white chocolate proved to be what the doctor ordered. A day spent in the kitchen with my favorite youngest sister made for a delicious way to  continue spreading the joy; and I may have just adopted another favorite holiday along the way. Here are a few fun, easy Valentine's Day treats to lift your spirits and spread the love:

White Chocolate Dipped Oreos + Rice Krispy Treats

Melt white chocolate on stove top or microwave |

Add a few drops of red food coloring to pink-it up a bit |

Dip Oreos or Heart-Shaped Rice Krispy Treats |

Decorate to your little heart's desire
