A Sweet Gift with Candyshop

I don't know about you, but shopping for my hubby can be hard. After nearly four years of marriage, we've covered most of the typical gifts to give a significant other- watch, cufflinks, lacrosse gear- check, check, check. OK, lacrosse gear may not be that typical, but nonetheless its already been crossed right off that list.

So when it came to Philip's birthday this year, I was running out of ideas. After chatting with my good friend Charisse, founder of our local Candyshop Photography, she suggested we do an impromptu shoot of our girl, just in time for Philip's big day. We've done a few Candyshop sessions {here},  {here} and {here}, and have always been super pleased with the shots. In fact, most of the framers in our house are courtesy of Candyshop photoshoots; especially the prints on our stairway gallery wall, that I've slowly but surely been perfecting over the past few months.

We opted for the Homemade Strawberry Swirl package- a quick thirty minute in-home session that allowed me to realize my dream of taking comfy-cozy PJ picks with my MM. Our photographer met us bright and early that day, just in time for that perfect morning light; and we spent the next thirty minutes or so playing around the house as she captured some super sweet moments.

Here are some of my very favorites from the day. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom to find Candyshop's exclusive offer for Lilies and Lambs readers!
